My Fashion design Story

Wow What a long time that I have been blogging!!! I'm 3rd year fashion design now and the last time that I posted photo's on Blogger was when I couldn't even make clothes, but I tried... So the previous photos was taken 3 years ago and I'VE MADE THE CLOTHES, haha!

Ok so where I'm actually heading for now is showing the world my new designs and inspirations. I've learned a lot while studying fashion. Its been 3 very rough years, no sleep and lots of stress, But still I think I'm living the dream!

I'mm busy with my 3rd year range that has to be conceptual design. My inspiration is Nomads, nomadic tribes and bohemians that travels to where life is. I am in love with Nomadic fashion!! I am looking at their artistic elements and their movements.

In 2nd year, last year for our annual fashion show my inspiration was The american native tribe Mohecan's. I love doing research on tribes, it fascinates me a lot. Especially their believes, movements and their history.

The Mohecans was based near the Hudson river. They always traveled to where water were and that is what their name also means.

This was my Garments that was inspired my the Mohecan tribe!
This was at the fashion show on my Campus. Noreen and Thozi was my Models.
This was backstage. Thozi my male model was wearing a jumpsuit made out of t-shirting and The brown suede was smoking, a technique that you do almost pinch the fabrick at the back!

Noreen my Female Model, she was wearing my Tribal Fringe corset, that is made out of suede and self cutt leather strips with a loose flowy chiffon blouse and a leather and suede smocked shorts.
